The Patagonian Expedition Race is only 54 days away, and we are getting nervous of the prospect of paddling across the ocean channels to reach Cape Horn. That the race will end on the Cape - known as one of the gnarliest weather systems on earth - is all we know. Sometimes I wish we didn't. So we've arranged to spend the solstice on the coast training on our bikes and in the big ocean. Check out the full blog here:
Chelsey Magness is hard to pin down in a few sentences. Chelsey is one of the few AcroYoga teachers that has received certifications from both AcroYoga groups in North America. She has trained and taught across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. With a background in Ashtanga Vinyasa, traditional Hatha, Dutch Acrobatics, Thai massage, Slacklining, rock-climbing, whitewater guiding and ultra-endurance adventure sport, Chelsey uses her teaching to help her students (and herself!) constantly re-asses what is possible and to radically expand the limits of physical and mental potential.
She's been featured in The New York Times, Womens Adventure Magazine, Wend Magazine, and has been fortunate to teach at such esteemed establishments as Yoga Journal Conferences, Telluride Yoga Festival, Kripalu, and Wanderlust.
Extra tidbit about Chelsey (from Jason!):
In the search for potions of love, happiness, and immortality, there are many ingredients that are difficult to find. Even if one can pinpoint the ingredient, it is almost impossible to successfully distill the essence in a way that is useable.
Most sages do agree however, that Chelsey's laugh is one such ingredient. So far all attempts at bottling it have failed. Until such time, our only option is to stay close to her....
