The Peace Love Car has been in the slacker family for years, it was purchased by Andy Magness in 2001 for $600 with less then 100,000 miles.  In 2004 the car was given to Jason because it would shake if you went faster then 40mph... Jason replaced the 3 diffrent sized tires, solving that issue.  Jason's HS  students spay painted the PEACE, LOVE and BE HAPPY on it a few months later.  Sam Picked the car up for Jason in 2005 on his way back from NZ.  You can follow the continued saga here

 

The sale of these stickers will keep the PLC running.... Usually all the work on the car is done by passionate people (Tom, Ben, Sam and  Zack to name a few) for pennies on the dollar.

 

 

History of the Sticker

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10:37am, Dan Norgard and Sam are stuck in El Paso, TX. Faced with tough decision SCRAP the PLC and buy a new car or spend $1400 to get a new transmission. We did what any hopeless romantic would do... we threw out all reason and bought an over priced transmission...

 

Now we are faced with the reality.
