The Slackline Series @ Brooklyn Boulders

 

The Slackline Series is a unique practice that redefines your sense of balance and mental focus.  Great for climbers and athletes of all forms, the YogaSlackers bring their unique practice of slacklining to climbing gyms and yoga studios alike to help students to develop new techniques of complete body awareness and strength as well as concentration.

 
In this 2 hour workshop (that is offered at several time slots on Sunday & Monday once a month) students will work in small groups on the indoor Brooklyn Boulders slackline set ups which are super safe with bouldering mats below.  Each class will be unique and open to students of all levels from complete beginner to advanced focusing on skills that include: kneeling, sitting, standing, walking and lying down on the line.  Depending on the level of the students classes will also incorporate skills such as working on transitions, turns & spins on the line.
 
CLASSES OFFERED EACH MONTH APRIL - DECEMBER 
Sunday 3 - 5pm & 6 - 8pm and Monday 6 - 8pm // $25 per class or 5 classes for $100
