Acrotastic Extravaganza! Advanced Acrobatics Immersion with:

Come join the 3 ring circus in Oakland with some of the most active and passionate Acrobatics teachers within the realm of AcroYoga. Drawing upon the unique strengths and signature style of each team, we will share a wide variety of complimentary skills and flows, designed for the seasoned acrobat. To maximize safety and optimal learning curve, we are giving preference to participants who come in a committed acrobatic partnership in the established roles of base and flyer, which will be maintained during our time training together. It is also possible to come as a solo practitioner, and we will assign acrobatic partnerships on the first day. Get ready for a ridiculously fun and adventurous 5 days, covering:
• Inversions & Strength training
• Foot-to-Hand and Hand-to-Hand
• Standing Acrobatic Transitions 
• Trio flows
• Washing Machines
• AcroDance Elements
• Icarian (human foot juggling - throwing flyers in tempo)
• AcrOlympics - Acro games & prizes

Pre-requisites: Experience and comfort in free shoulderstand, free star, foot-to-hand and reverse foot-to-hand, foot-to-foot, two high (standing on shoulders), washing machines and flying transitions, in EITHER the role of base OR flyer. Can attempt a handstand without spotter safely.
Recommendations: having previously attended a 5 day acrobatic immersion with Jason or Jenny, an acrobatics weekend intensive with Lux, or Jason & Chelsey, or the Dutch acrobatics festival.

If you have any questions about meeting the pre-requisites, please email events@acroyoga.org. We will be running all of the pre-requisites on the first morning with the group. Anyone not able to meet the pre-requisites will NOT be allowed to continue with the course and will NOT be refunded.

Singles and Pairs may register and pay directly without an application if they meet the all pre-requisites.

*Please note – this is an auxiliary Immersion, and does NOT count towards the 2 Immersion pre-requisite for AcroYoga Teacher Training.
