Lovingly titled "4 days and 4 ways to die" this expedition explored the possibility serious technical mountain travel combined with packrafting descent. We climbed Granite peak, descended untracked wilderness to the source of the Stillwater river, and made the first descent of a harrowing gorge.
A self-supported 20-day snow kiting journey across North Dakota to raise awareness about wind energy potential. Featured in Outside Magazine, and various media across the country.
Our first serious foray into human powered expeditions. Our goal was to climb Lotus Flower Tower in the Cirque of the Unclimbables without flying in to basecamp. So began the epic journey.
