In 2006, the YogaSlackers began sharing a fun and interactive method for learning the exciting sport of slacklining. Founded by Jason Magness and Sam Salwei, our journey began at the Yoga Journal Conference in Estes Park. Since then, YogaSlackers have taught at over festivals, worldwide, including Wanderlust, Yoga Journal conferences, music festivals and outdoor sporting events like the Teva Mountain Games. The YogaSlackers have successively taught slacklining to over 20,000 people. Within 20 minutes of detailed instruction most people are able to slackline! The YogaSlackers specialize in nudging students (and themselves) far outside their comfort zone and into the realm of ultimate growth. Through traditional yoga, as well as various yogic based practices such as climbing, slacklining, and acrobatics, we are known worldwide for our teaching abilities. Students say we “help them reach their potential” and “are super fun to be around!” Some of the fun and high energy offerings YogaSlackers can bring to your next festival include: mini Adventure Races, Slackline Yoga, AcroYoga, Slackro, Yoga, Climbing, Handstands and Group Conditioning.
